While leading a ground-breaking program over 25 years ago at Harvard Business School with top Fortune 500 executives, Dr. Robert H. Miles had an epiphany. In attempting to solve the most challenging of business issues, he began to identify an underlying thread for success to predictably implement corporate transformations. Long term engagements with companies including General Electric, Rockwell Scientific and National Semiconductor followed, further refining his methodology.

In the mid 1990s, Dr. Miles joined forces with Michael Kanazawa to work with high-tech companies that had a fundamental need to compress their cycles of change and better meet the needs of their markets. These engagements proved highly successful for a number of technology and telecommunications bellwethers, including Pacific Telesis (SBC), Symantec and Anadigics.

Over a decade of success culminated with the release of their popular book, BIG Ideas to BIG Results; essential reading for the modern business executive. Anchored in Dr. Miles’ transformational methodologies, this book encompasses the complete integration of Kanazawa’s work on customer-driven planning and rapid strategic shifts. Following a successful launch, it has been translated into numerous languages, including: Czech, Polish, and Spanish. It’s deemed by many to be the definitive roadmap for streamlined, enterprise-wide strategic transformation; an accolade reinforced through receipt of literary awards from USA Book News and 800ceoread’s Innovation and Creativity Book Awards.
